Applications are currently being accepted – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. A waiting list will be established for classes that are full.
You will need two proofs of residency at the time of registration. Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration.
Traviss Technical College encourages and expects all students enrolled in programs to attend regularly, to derive maximum benefit from the instructional program, and to develop habits of punctuality, self-discipline, and responsibility. Students are expected to telephone the instructor when absent according to departmental policy.
An adult student may be withdrawn from school if the student misses 60 hours in a semester. The student will receive a warning when he/she has reached 30 hours of absences.
Attendance requirements in programs that lead to licensure and/or certification may be stricter than the school’s overall attendance policy.

- TABE Testing (Test of Adult Basic Education)
Testing is Offered Tuesdays at 7:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., Thursdays at 7:15 a.m.
$20.00 cash, check, or credit card for adults, free for high school students. Testing will only be offered Tuesday mornings during the summer. All students need a photo I.D. Testing fees are non-refundable. If you have an A.A. or A.S. degree or higher from an accredited institution or you are enrolling in a program less than 450 hours in length, you are not required to take the TABE test.
- TABE RETEST INFORMATION: There is a 6 week waiting period before retesting. Please call (863) 499-2700 for retesting and scheduling information.

Requests for transcripts must be made in writing to Student Services using the Transcript Request Form. Print the form and mail to Traviss Technical College, 3225 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland, Florida 33803. Please include a check or money order made out to Traviss Technical College for $3.00. Students are also able to print the form and bring it to the school to pay with cash or debit/credit card.

From Lakeland and Interstate 4 – Take US Highway 98 South from Lakeland until you get to Winter Lake Road (State Road 540). Turn east (left) on to Winter Lake Road. Go to Reynolds Road (the first traffic light app. 1/2 mile). Turn right, this is the schools entrance.
From South Lakeland, Bartow and Hwy 60 – Take US Highway 98 North from Bartow or Highland City until you get to Winter Lake Road (State Road 540). Turn east (right) on to Winter Lake Road. Go to Reynolds Road (the first traffic light app. 1/2 mile). Turn right, this is the schools entrance.
From Auburndale, Winter Haven and Haines City – Take US Highway 92 West to Reynolds Road. Turn south (left) on to Reynolds Road and continue to Winter Lake Road (State Road 540). Go through the traffic light, This is the schools entrance.
From the Polk County Parkway – Exit the Polk County Parkway at the US 98 South exit. Travel South on US 98 app. 1/3 mile to Winter Lake Road (the first traffic light south of the interchange). Turn east (left) on to Winter Lake Road. Go to Reynolds Road (the first traffic light app. 1/2 mile). Turn right, this is the schools entrance.
